Working with my hands is in my blood. I come from hardworking ancestors that worked from dawn till dusk. Working the Earth for Vegetables and with Animals for sustenance.

Uruguay is where I grew up, my culture. My mother originally born in Portugal taught me the art of working with fibers, the techniques and the love that each item receives.

Natural materials are such a wonderful way to connect with our Mother Earth.

These skeins from Malabrigo were bought directly from Uruguay and they carry the slow way of life there. This is the nature of Slow Fashion. Taking the time to select the material (wool), the tool size (needle) and then the plan and size of the item of clothing to be created. This is not to be discarded with one wear. This is a item that requires special care when received. It must be washed and dried with specific intention thus carrying on its very purposeful creation.
